Balatonfüred-Csopak is a wine-growing region in Hungary. Balatonfürde, the center oft he wine region, is located on ine of the most beautiful areas on the Northern shore of Lake Balaton.

The Balaton-Csopak wine region covers approximately 2500 hectares. Wines from Balatonfüred are softer and smoother, while wines from Csopak are more complex with vivid acidity.

With the wine weeks Balatonfüred, which looks back on a long history, the good wines of the wine-growing region Balatonfüred-Csopak are celebrated worthy. The wine weeks take three weeks. In this time the winemakers expect their guests in atmospheric marquees, which are erected on the Tagore-Promenade. In the evening cultural and folklore events are provide a good atmosphere. During the day you have the possibility to walk through an impressive folk art market.

A festival that is more than a gastronomical event. The best wines of the wine region (nearly 250 types of wine of around 30 grape varieties, all from the Balatonfüred-Csopak wine region), the special vibe of the Tagore Promenade and the view of the lake..
