Our event at the International Danube Festival is called Donaubrückenfrühstück. This is a german term and means breakfast on the Danube. The motto of the event is "Sharing bread with your danubian neighbours". Everybody is invited!

The Donaubrückenfrühstück takes place on the Herdbrücke in Ulm. This place was chosen consciously. Bridges are a symbol for connection. The Herdbrücke connects Ulm and Neu-Ulm and at the event the bridge also connects Germany with other danubian Countries!
Antoher way connection will be represented is sharing bread. In every danubian country people eat bread. There are different sorts of bread in each country but in the end bread is bread and people are people, no matter which country they belong to.
The Donaubrückenfrühstück is about sharing your bread, eating, drinking and talking about your life and the living along the Danube. This event shall reveal that we want to get to know our danubian neighbours. We also want to live together as a variety in the unity of a peaceful and tolerant Europe.
